'You can't do without it anymore'
The most frequently held discussion with fanciers is the discussion whether pigeon racing without antibiotic use is still possible. I try to make it clear to the enthusiasts that a simple yes or no answer to this is not possible. It's not a black and white question. I have several enthusiasts in the clinic who play very well without medication. But I also know fanciers who play very well by regularly 'disinfecting' the pigeons. The answer to the question is a bit more complicated. There are many shades of grey between black and white.
